This past football season was huge success. Powers went undefeated throughout the season, and then finished it of by defeating Days Creek in the State Final by a score of 34 to 8.

Powers also placed three players on the all-state team. Jimmy Adamek, RB/LB, first team; David Lehnherr, DE/C, second team; and Mark Shelley, RB/DT, honorable mention. Adamek was also picked by the Oregonian as Oregon 1A Player of the Year. Also, Coach Tim France was selected as the 1A coach of the year.
