Reedsport & Winchester Bay

• These neighboring towns along the Umpqua River offer the rare opportunity to watch elk and gray whales in the same afternoon.
• While in Reedsport, visit the Umpqua Discovery Center on the riverfront. Then travel east of town on Highway 38 to the Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area.

• Lakeside is a community of 1000 on the shores of Ten-Mile Lake.
